Another Fabulous Day!: February 2008

So a few months ago, we decided to do away with our home phone number since we use our cell phones instead. As easy as it sounds to just cancel our home phone line, it clearly wasn't. Our high speed internet and home phone were through AT&T. After cancelling our home phone, a few days later our internet stopped. So we called AT&T and after Brian spent over a week on the phone trying to get me internet, they finally had to come out and hook it back up again. Apparently, they didn't let us know that when cancelling our home phone, we'd have to re-sign up for internet again. Grrr...it made me pretty angry! Well, after a month or so, our internet stopped again. Something to do with all the changes, but I forget why it stopped this last time. We've been going good on our internet now for a month or more and last night I came home to check my email like everyday and bam! it said account suspended. Well, I called up AT&T, not in the mood at all to be talking to them for god knows how long I was gonna have to talk to them....

So they inform me that since we had to re-sign up for our internet, when Brian was on the phone with him a month ago, he for some reason made up an email for the primary email account. Which after 30 or so days, mine and his were dunzo! Nice...so basically that main email address that everyone and every company had, is no longer in service. So I am happy to say that I am going with yahoo and know that no matter what internet service I am with, I can always access my email now.

It's so hard to let everyone know your new email or your new cell. There could be people out there you haven't talked to in a long time, but still have your email or cell and they go to reach me and they can't. I am so happy that cell companies are letting you stick with the same phone number now.
