Steph, Lindsay, and I volunteered to be Start! girls for the USAC Silver Crown Race last Thursday. We had to wear lime green wigs and tank top for the American Heart Association. We also got to say "Gentleman, Start! your engines!" Woohoo

Ta Da!!!
So Dylan's room is FINALLY done! Well, mostly done. We're still waiting on the desk and cabinets to be added to the inside of the bunk bed. Other than that...it's finally done! Thanks A HUGE BUNCH to Tyler for working hard all week on putting down the hardwood floor and to my Dad for working hard all week on the bunk bed. Also another thanks to Uncle Jr for helping Tyler and giving him a jumpstart! Enjoy the pics!

Our new project..
So last Saturday, Brian and I decided to take on a new project to be done in a week-Dylan's Room. While my dad is building him a bunk bed, we decided to rip up the nasty carpet in his room and put hardwood floors down before we put the bed in. I also decided to paint a little. My lovely brother has been coming over all week and working on putting the floor down. My dad is hard at work at home working on the bunk bed, and my mom is at home working on her own room. My very kind aunt jan and uncle jr stopped by last night cause they knew tyler would need some help. And it helped for sure! I think they kind of sped him up a bit. So here are some before pics...and I can't wait to show you the after pics!

Some summer photos

So Logan finally learned how to ride his bike! We were working with him about 3 weeks ago and he really didn't have much of a desire to learn or take off on his own. Well, today he was playing with his neighborhood friend Garrett and Garrett and some other girls came to get Logan to go play and they were all riding their bikes. I went in, not thinking anything and decided to go outside and see where they went. They were still here in the garage. Logan was trying to move the handle bars up on his scooter and couldn't get it to budge. He even went as far as to go in and get a wrench to loosen the screw. It still wouldn't budge. I even offered for him to ride the big wheel but he said no, it's Dylan's. He said "I'll just ride my bike". I thought ok, i'll just sit and see what happens. Sure enough, he gets on his bike and takes off. I couldn't believe it! He didn't even need a push. Guess he was gonna start riding when he was ready! We even went on a bike ride and he was riding through the grass onto the sidewalk from the street. And he was going fast where I couldn't keep up! Yay for Logan!!
Also are some pics of the awesome cornhole game Tyler built for Brian for his birthday.
A little blurry, but you get the point. His little brother following him..
